The prime minister has said people in โปรโมชั่น slotxo England should no longer have to maintain social distancing from 19 July.
A final decision will be made on 12 July, based on the latest Covid data.
What's changing?
The 1m-plus social distancing rule should come to an end when England moves into stage four of the roadmap out of lockdown on 19 July, according to Boris Johnson.
This would have a knock-on effect on other restrictions and would mean, among other things:
the "rule of six", which governs the number of people who are able to enter private homes, would be lifted
an end to limits on attendance at weddings and funerals
venues would be able to operate at full capacity once more
These changes apply in England only - Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland will decide separately when to end social distancing.
Why has the government decided to end social distancing?
It has been guided by a review of social distancing, which has been published alongside the latest announcement.
The review says the success of the vaccination programme means that fewer people are likely to be transmitting the virus.
However, it warns that in deprived communities and certain ethnic minority groups where fewer people have taken the vaccine, the removal of social distancing could lead to "disproportionate impacts".
